How to Replace the Key Battery of a Jeep Renegade

If you own a Jeep Renegade and want to change the key battery, you can see the procedure in this video. First, extract the key by sliding it out while pressing the designated button. Once extracted, use a flathead screwdriver in the slot next to where you removed the key to open the shell: the battery will be located in one of the two parts of the shell. Using the flathead screwdriver again, pry out the battery. Position the new battery with the positive terminal facing the shell and press it in until it is securely seated. At this point, reassemble the shell, aligning the two parts and pressing them together correctly. Finally, reinsert the key into its designated slot.
