How to Remove the Steering Box from the Jeep Cherokee?

To remove the steering box from the Jeep Cherokee, lift the vehicle using a ramp to access its underside: the steering box is located near the engine bay. To remove it, you will need to unscrew all the bolts securing the supports at the bottom of the vehicle, also disconnecting the relevant connectors. Then, from the engine bay, disconnect the final connectors and bolts to slide the box out from the underside of the vehicle. After removal, you can replace it with a new part.
