Operation: How do you replace the timing belt on the Jeep Wrangler 2.8 CRD?

To be able to replace the timing belt on the Jeep Wrangler 2.8 CRD you need to open the bonnet and remove the bulky parts that prevent access to the belt, in the front part of the engine block. The pieces to be removed will be the air filter box and the engine cooling fan; at this point it will be possible to unscrew the nuts that secure the central pins of the pulleys. In this way the tension of the belt will be reduced and it can be removed from its housing by inserting a new one. After the installation you will be able to insert again all the removed components.
