How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Jeep Wrangler 2.8 CRD?

To replace the timing belt on a Jeep Wrangler 2.8 CRD, open the bonnet and remove any obstructing parts that prevent access to the belt at the front of the engine block. The parts to remove will be the air filter box and the engine cooling fan; at this point, you can unscrew the nuts securing the central pins of the pulleys. This will reduce the tension on the belt, allowing it to be removed from its housing while inserting a new one. After installation, reinsert all the removed components.
