Replacing the timing belt on the Jeep Wrangler is crucial, as its failure or degradation can lead to malfunctioning of other components. To replace the timing belt, remove the air filter and the engine cooling fan to create more space. Now, remove the nuts securing the pulley pins; this will reduce the tension on the belt, allowing you to remove it easily. Slide it out of its seat. Once the old belt is removed, insert a new one by reversing the process. After fitting the belt, reattach the pulley and secure it with the nuts, then reinstall the air filter and the fan.
