How to Open the Fuel Flap on the Jeep Renegade

The fuel flap on your Jeep Renegade operates by pressure. This means there are no buttons or locks installed on it. So how do you open it? It's simple: just apply a light but firm pressure with your fingers on the rear edge of the flap and it will open. Once opened, you will see the fuel cap, which unscrews by turning it to the left (counter-clockwise). You can now refuel, then screw the cap back on and close the flap. Again, apply a light pressure.
