Removing the Brake Disc with the Caliper

Model: Jeep Wrangler MK 3, JK - Years 2007-2018

In this video, we will see how to remove a brake disc. Secure the car and unscrew all the wheel bolts, remove the wheel and begin unscrewing the caliper bolts. Firmly pull the caliper away from the bracket. Pull the brake disc towards you after removing the safety pin locks. Clean the hub thoroughly of any debris and rust, apply some grease, and mount the disc after lubricating it well. Clean the brake caliper and lubricate it, apply grease to all the bolts and reattach them to the caliper. Secure the caliper to the car's disc and do not forget to install the respective brake pads. Before mounting the brake caliper, bleed it until the correct pressure is achieved. We are almost done, prepare to refit all the nuts with a suitable spanner and the wheel. Remember to top up any lost fluid from the previous bleeding.
