To replace the battery in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, locate it inside the cabin, under the front passenger seat. To replace it, push the passenger seat forward and remove the battery cover with the carpet.

Once the unit is accessible, disconnect the terminals connected to it and loosen the securing bolts. This way, the unit can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part.

After installing the new battery, reinsert the panel and reposition the seat.
