To replace the front brake pads on a Kawasaki ZX 6R, loosen the screws securing the brake caliper to the corresponding disc so that the caliper can be completely detached. After removing the caliper, you will need to pull out the pin that secures the pads in their housing: this will allow the pads to be fully removed and replaced with new ones. After replacement, refit the caliper to the disc to ensure the front brake functions correctly.
