To replace the air filter of the Kawasaki ER 5, loosen the screws that secure the seat of the motorcycle to its housing: this will allow the seat to be removed and provide access to the screws that secure the left side panel of the motorcycle, just below the seat housing. Once this side panel is removed, you can loosen the screws that secure the underlying intake duct, removing it as well and thus locating the filter; the filter can now be extracted and all previously removed components can be reinserted.
