Replacing the battery is a DIY task that can be done without any issues, provided you note any activation codes, such as that for the radio, before disconnecting the battery. Be careful when disconnecting the terminals: during removal, disconnect the negative terminal first, and during installation, connect the positive terminal first. The battery for this model has exposed terminals and is located just behind the left front headlamp. After disconnecting the terminals, remove the rear mounting plate at the bottom to extract the old battery and insert the new one, proceeding in reverse order.
