How to adjust the handbrake of the Kia Picanto

Today we will explain how to adjust the handbrake of the Kia Picanto. To perform this simple operation, we need to climb onto the rear seats of the vehicle and remove the fabric covering of the lower dashboard where the handbrake is located. Using a 10mm wrench, we unscrew the two nuts on the sides of the lower dashboard. Using a 12mm wrench, we tighten the nut inside the handbrake to tighten or loosen the tension according to our needs. After performing this operation, before hitting the road, we test the functionality of the handbrake.
