How does the disc brake cleaning mode work on the Kia Niro HEV 2?
Model: Kia Niro
SG2
- Years 2021-2026
On the Kia Niro HEV 2 there is a function designed to keep the brakes efficient, especially in driving conditions where regenerative braking is dominant. The function is activated by holding down the "auto hold" button for more than three seconds; when brake disc cleaning is active, the message "brake disc cleaning" appears on the display; it is important to note that during the cleaning process regenerative braking is at least limited; the system applies a series of light brakes during driving, helping to remove dirt and oxidation from the brake discs, improving efficiency and reducing noise: the function automatically deactivates at the end of the process. The purpose of this function is to prevent oxidation. In fact, in hybrid vehicles regenerative braking reduces the use of traditional brakes, which can lead to oxidation of the brake discs.

How to Replace the Air Filter on Opel Vectra
Let's see how to remove the engine air filter mounted on the Opel Vectra: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Unscrew the clamp of the air intake hose, unscrew the securing screws of the filter box (around the perimeter), remove the cover, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly against the walls). Finally, refit the air box panel and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance. by ScegliAuto More videos
