How to replace the windshield wiper and cabin filter of the Kia EV6 DIY

To replace the windshield wiper on the Kia EV6, it is best to start with a clean windshield and the car parked. The wiper arm is lifted to a vertical position, allowing you to work without touching the glass. At the connection point between the arm and the blade, there is a release tab: it should be pressed while sliding the old blade forward, which will come out of its slot. At this point, take the new blade, insert it into the same guide, and push until you hear the locking click, ensuring it is securely attached before carefully lowering the arm back onto the windshield.

As for the cabin filter, the EV6 houses it in the front compartment under the hood. After opening the hood, lift the cover of the small front storage compartment and detach the plastic panels that cover the area in front of the electronic group. Once the cover is removed, the rectangular filter door is visible: by pulling it towards you, you can extract the old filter element, which should be removed carefully to avoid spreading dust. Then take the new filter, check the direction of airflow indicated on the frame, and insert it into the slot all the way. Finally, close the door, reattach the plastic panels, and put the compartment cover back on. In this way, with just a few steps, both the windshield wipers and the cabin filter of the Kia EV6 are renewed, improving visibility and indoor air quality.
