In this video, we will see how to check the tread depth of the tires on a Kia EV9: it is an operation that can be done by checking the tread wear indicators located next to the triangle symbol on the side of the tire. Additionally, we need to check the center and outer part of the tread: inside the tire, there are wear indicators; if these have been reached, it means that the tire needs to be replaced. This operation can also be done using a regular card, which we will place in the grooves of the tread to see the wear indicator. If the area under the wear indicator is visible, then the tire definitely needs to be replaced. We can also do this with a mobile phone by illuminating the tire with the flash; if we do not see the flash light from the other side of the tire, then we need to replace it.
