The service light with the spanner symbol appears on the instrument cluster of the Kia Rio when a service is due. Only after performing the service operations on the vehicle can you reset the light. To reset the light, press the button with the menu symbol located on the right side of the steering wheel to access the vehicle settings.

From the settings menu, select the reset option and wait for the mileage to update for the next service. Once the light has been updated, restart the instrument cluster.
