Let’s see how to use the intelligent regeneration system on the Kia EV3. This is an advanced regenerative braking system that not only recovers energy but manages it intelligently based on driving conditions to improve efficiency, comfort, and safety. It partially automates deceleration, maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front, decelerating when necessary; it keeps an appropriate and constant speed during downhill driving without needing to use the brake continuously; if the vehicle ahead comes to a complete stop, it also stops the car while maintaining a safe distance. Activation is very simple. Pull the right joystick selector (the one used to select gears) towards you, and an icon will inform you of successful activation. To deactivate it, pull towards you and hold the same joystick for a few seconds.
