Alternative Method for Replacing the Headlights of the Kia Picanto

The video shows an alternative solution for removing a very stuck headlight from a Kia Picanto MK1. The headlight does not come out using the traditional method (the finger method under the bumper; too much stiffness after years of use due to mechanical clips). The solution in the video is to use a sturdy rope (or strap) and pass this cable behind the headlight, in the space between the headlight and the bumper. Pull with leverage, outward and forward: this way, you will have more distributed force without damaging your fingers. The method works because it distributes the force across the entire width of the headlight, avoids breaking the plastic tabs, and prevents finger injuries when the headlight is very stuck. Use a soft cable to avoid scratching, check for any obstacles behind the headlight (like wires or connectors); pull gradually, avoiding jerking, and first disconnect the battery and unplug the electrical connector.
