Removing the Car Radio on Kia Rio

Model: Kia Rio DC, MK 1 - Years 2000-2005

Let's replace the original car radio fitted in a Kia Rio; see how to remove and change it for a new one. Remove the stereo trim with a plastic lever (where the air vents are located), detach it from the centre console without breaking it. Once the stereo is free from the plastic trim, unscrew the securing screws located on either side using a screwdriver. Pull out the stereo with your hands and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). Connect the power connector to the new car radio, insert it into the housing. Refit the trim.
