Obtain the original replacement filter, various seals, and oil. Lift the car with appropriate jacks and secure it with suitable supports to prevent it from falling. Remove the front wheels for easier access.

Place a plastic sheet or cardboard under the engine and a container for oil collection. Unscrew the oil cap on the sump and allow it to drain.

Close the oil cap, reassemble the oil filter, and top up with new oil. Using a flexible ratchet wrench, gently unscrew the oil filter and remove it from its housing. Replace the used cartridge with a new one. Do not dispose of used oil in the environment; take it to the appropriate collection centres.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
