Is the thermostat of the Kia Sportage gone? Let's see the disassembly of the damaged piece. We lift the front cover hood, unscrew the tightening screws of the soundproofing panel and go to find the tightening screws of the thermostat. Disassemble the coolant sleeve, unscrew the pins on the sides of the thermostat (we use a socket wrench with relative bushes), remove the sealing cap and extract the coolant thermostat from its seat. Once the piece has been removed, replace it with a new one, close the special compartment with the cap. We fasten all mounting screws of the replaced parts.
