How to Replace the Thermostat on a Kia Sportage CRDi

Is the thermostat on your Kia Sportage faulty? Let’s take a look at removing the damaged part. Lift the front cover bonnet, unscrew the securing screws of the soundproofing panel, and locate the securing screws for the thermostat. Remove the coolant hose, unscrew the bolts on either side of the thermostat (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets), pull out the sealing cap, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one and refit the housing with the cap. Secure all the mounting screws of the replaced parts.
