Today, let's discover the steps to remove and replace the EGR valve on the Kia Sportage CRDI, as well as the Hyundai Tucson. Lift the bonnet of the vehicle and start by disconnecting and removing the battery, disconnecting the terminals and then the bolt of the bracket found at the bottom; next, remove the intake hose connected to the air filter box, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the EGR valve duct by unscrewing the securing screws and disconnecting the electrical connector to remove it and replace it with the new one (or clean it if that is sufficient to restore its function).
