In this video, learn how to remove and replace the EGR valve on the second generation Kia Sportage with a 2.0 CRDI 16-valve engine. First, open the bonnet and remove the upper cover; then locate the EGR valve at the rear of the engine. Next, disconnect the exhaust manifold pipe from the valve by unscrewing the securing bolts; remove the manifold pipes and unscrew the EGR valve screws to take it off, disconnecting the electrical connector from the sensor. Now proceed with cleaning the valve or directly with the replacement.
