How to Remove the EGR Valve from a Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage MK 2, KM - Years 2004-2010

Before you begin, open the front bonnet of your Kia Sportage. Start by unclipping and moving the metal clips securing the hoses around the exhaust manifold. Next, remove the exhaust manifold by unscrewing the fixing bolts to access the EGR valve. Proceed to unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the EGR valve to the engine block, and finally disconnect the electrical connector. At this point, remove the EGR valve itself, completing the disassembly.
