How to Replace the Thermostat on a Kia Sportage?

To replace the thermostat on a Kia Sportage, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: you will need to remove the screws securing the cover on top of the engine block, completely taking it off to access the underlying components. On the right side of the engine, you will find a pipe that must be removed after loosening its securing bolts: beneath it is the thermostat, which should be pulled out of its housing and replaced with a new one.
