Removing the Thermostat on a Kia Sportage

Watch the following video to learn how to remove the thermostat on a Kia Sportage. Remove the engine soundproofing panel and the ventilation hose located above the area to be worked on. Unscrew the bolts on the thermostat housing cap (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets), pull out the sealing cap, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, close the compartment with the cap, and tighten the bolts securely with all its parts. Ensure that the thermostat is correctly inserted and mounted.
