How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Kia Optima

Model: Kia Optima / K5 MK 3, TF - Years 2010-2015

The "Service" light indicates that the vehicle has covered a distance requiring a service, so before performing this operation, ensure that the service has been carried out. Start by activating the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Then, repeatedly press the "TRIP" button until the message "Engine Oil Service Required" appears on the multifunction display. Once this message appears, press the "RESET" button for about one second, press the "TRIP" button, and finally confirm by pressing the "RESET" button again. By doing this, you will have successfully completed the reset.
