Replacing the Front Headlamp on a Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage QL, MK 4 - Years 2016-2022

Be aware that on this model of car, you must first remove the front bumper if you intend to replace a headlamp. To do this, simply unscrew all the screws that secure it above and below. If you have difficulties, refer to other tutorials. Using a 12mm socket, unscrew the bolt that secures the headlamp laterally, then with a 10mm socket, unscrew the two screws that secure it in the central part of the bodywork. Disconnect the two connectors (one large and one smaller) and remove the headlamp: to do this, pull it up and outwards from the car, giving it slight shakes to release it from the clips. Fit the new headlamp by reversing the process, or change the affected bulb by unscrewing it from the rear.
