How to Reset the Service Light on the Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage QL, MK 4 - Years 2016-2022

Reset the maintenance light if you have recently changed the oil and filter. Enter the cabin and sit in the driver's seat. Turn on the instrument panel with the key (do not start the engine). When the instrument panel display lights up, check the maintenance light (instrument panel display). Use the up/down buttons located to the right of the steering wheel. Scroll through the menu until you reach SERVICE. Press and hold the button until the light resets completely: the actual mileage of the car will appear on the information display.
