How to perform a service on the Kia Sportage

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the engine oil and filters on a Kia Sportage. First, lift the car using a hydraulic jack and place safety stands under the vehicle. Next, remove the panel to access the oil drain plug. To do this, remove the clips (12). Once the clips are removed, take off the panel. Now you can unscrew the oil plug, position a container underneath, and wait for all the oil to drain out. After that, screw the plug back in. Lift the bonnet and unscrew the oil filter, replacing it with a new one. Now, using a funnel, pour in the oil (5W-30).
