How to replace the reverse gear switch in a Kia Sportage
Model: Kia Sportage
SL, MK 3
- Years 2010-2016
In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the reverse gear switch in a Kia Sportage. The first thing to do is to purchase a new reverse switch from an authorized auto parts dealer. Get into the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake; lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate rod. Now we have to remove the battery from the engine compartment, so we start unscrewing the negative terminal and then the positive one with a 10mm spanner. Remove the clamps and hide them to prevent them from touching. Remove the 12mm battery retaining bolt and remove the battery from the engine compartment. Now we have to disassemble the filter box and remove it from its seat, then release the retaining clips and unscrew the bolts. Once the filter box has been removed, we must remove the battery compartment, so we must unscrew the 12mm bolts. Once the battery compartment has been removed, we see the reverse light switch, so we have to unplug it, unscrew it with a 24 jack wrench with extension and then replace it with the new one and reassemble all the parts working backwards.

How to Remove the Diesel Filter from a Peugeot 207
Lift the bonnet; remove the soundproofing panel from the engine and locate the diesel filter (as shown in the video). Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts (a spanner can also be used) near the container where the diesel filter is located. Once the filter is removed, disconnect the circulation hoses and take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the attached container of the diesel filter (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Close the bonnet afterwards. by ScegliAuto More videos
