As shown in this tutorial, replacing the reverse switch in the Nissan Micra is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, lift the front left side of the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions, then go underneath and locate the sensor in question, positioned right in front of the driveshaft boot. Next, disconnect the connector by releasing the clip, apply some penetrating spray, and unscrew the sensor using a 24mm socket. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
