Operation: How do you disassemble the dashboard of the Kia Sportage?

To be able to disassemble the dashboard of the Kia Sportage you must first unscrew the screws located behind the steering wheel, in order to extract the airbag and then loosen the underlying nut, to completely remove the steering wheel as well. Once the steering wheel has been removed, you can proceed by detaching the plastic parts of the steering column and then those of the central tunnel: the panel with the climate control controls can now be removed by unscrewing the fastening screws and disconnecting the connectors at the rear. At this point it will be possible to detach the side plastic covers of the dashboard, removing the entire central panel and replacing all the necessary components.
