Replacing the cabin filter in the KIA Sportage, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick task. First, go to the passenger side, then open the glove compartment and empty it. Next, locate the two plastic plugs on the upper area of the side walls, rotate them counterclockwise, and detach the end stop damper on the right side. At this point, you can lay the drawer on the floor, open the long rectangular cover, and remove the old filter. To reassemble everything, simply follow the reverse procedure.
