To replace the alternator on a Kia Cadenza, open the hood to access the components inside the engine bay. You will need to loosen the screws that secure the radiator fan so it can be removed from its housing after disconnecting the connectors. At this point, remove the serpentine belt to free the alternator, also unscrewing its mounting bolts. After removal, you can install the new alternator, securing it and properly reinstalling the serpentine belt.
