To replace the transmission fluid in a Kia Cadenza, access the components located at the bottom of the vehicle: near the engine compartment, you will find the drain plug for the fluid inside the transmission. Once the plug is removed, collect the used fluid in a properly positioned container; after all the fluid has drained out, open the hood and refill through the designated vent.

This vent is located in the engine compartment between the engine and the battery.
