Replacing the battery of the key remote for a Kia Borrego car is a simple and quick operation. First, take the remote and extract the metal key inside it; to do this, simply press the small button located at the end of the casing and simultaneously pull out the key. At this point, use a flat-head screwdriver to lever the short side of the casing in order to open it. Once the remote is open, remove the exhausted battery by levering it out with the tip of a smaller screwdriver; insert the new battery and close the casing by simply applying pressure with your fingers until the two sides click into place. The required battery model is a 3V CR 2032 flat type.
