Replacing the key fob battery in a Kia Borrego is a simple and quick task. Take the key fob and first extract the metal key inside; to do this, press the small button located at the end of the fob and simultaneously pull out the key. Now, use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the short side of the fob to access the inside. Once the fob is open, remove the old battery using the tip of a smaller screwdriver; insert the new battery and close the fob by pressing the two sides together until they snap into place. The required battery model is a flat CR 2032 3V.
