To replace the rear shock absorber in a Kia Borrego, loosen the bolts that secure the shock absorber at both the upper and lower ends, corresponding to the body and the axle. After these bolts are loosened, you can remove the old shock absorber and position the new one. The new shock absorber must then be secured by inserting the bolts at its upper and lower ends. After installation, lower the vehicle and check that it functions correctly.
