Replacing the key battery of your Kia Ceed Mk2 (2012-2018) is very simple, and with this mini guide, you can complete it in a few minutes without any difficulty. First, release the emergency key by pressing the designated button located at the top of the cover.

Next, remove the rear cover using your hands and locate the button battery. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new compatible one. Reattach the rear cover, and you are done.
