How to change the battery of the Kia Ceed 2

In this video, we will see how to change the battery of the Kia Ceed 2: the battery is located in the engine compartment, on the right side, and is fixed to the body by a support plate that we will remove. We disconnect the battery starting from the negative terminal, making sure that the cable is far away from the terminal so that it cannot accidentally reconnect; now we can also disconnect the positive terminal; we remove the fabric cover of the battery and remove the battery itself. We clean the terminals with fine sandpaper to remove any oxide, and we apply copper grease to the terminals of the new battery. We insert the new battery, put on the fabric cover, connect the positive terminal, then the negative one, fix the support plate and we are done.
