How to Replace the Key Battery in a Kia Ceed

Model: Kia Cee D MK 1 - Years 2006-2012

Start by pressing and holding the button located on the top side of the electric key for our Kia Ceed, which will open the physical key. Next, using your hands, pry and remove the back side of the key. By doing this, you will access the flat battery inside the key. At this point, remove the battery from the key, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new battery and close the key of our Kia Ceed, simply repeat this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
