The TPMS light illuminates on a vehicle when the tyre pressure does not meet the manufacturer's specifications. After inflating the tyres to the manufacturer's recommended pressure, it is necessary to reset the light. On a 2021 Kia Sorento, the reset is performed manually. First, turn on the instrument cluster and then press the SET button located on the central dashboard. Hold the button until the light starts to flash and then turns off completely; at that point, release the button. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to check that the light has gone out.
