In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the KTM 1190 RC8-R, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we place a container under the motorcycle and remove the lower fairing.

We then locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it with a socket wrench and proceed to unscrew the secondary filter, which must be cleaned of any dirt residue. At this point, all that remains is to open the main filter cap, insert the replacement, reassemble everything and pour the new oil through the appropriate hole.
