When the drive belt is worn, it is advisable to replace it to avoid damaging more expensive parts. Don’t worry, it’s very easy, especially with this guide. Remove the bolts from the cover, then move on to the bolts of the actual casing. Loosen the footrest screw to create space if needed. Once the cover is removed to disassemble the variator, you will need an air gun or a piston lock. To unscrew the nut related to the clutch, hold the rear wheel. Now unscrew the variator bolt. Proceed to replace the belt with the new part and reassemble everything. I recommend cleaning the transmission area with compressed air and a brush.
