How to Replace the Battery on a Lada Kalina

If you need to replace the battery on this vehicle yourself, follow the instructions in this video and the description below. First, open the hood; the battery is located on the right side of the compartment. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal, and use a socket wrench to remove the nuts securing the metal plate above the battery. Lift the battery out of the engine compartment and take the new one. Reposition the securing plate over the battery, tighten the nuts again, reconnect the positive terminal, and finally the negative terminal to complete the job.
