Removing the Instrument Cluster on a Lancia Ypsilon

Removing the upper cover of the instrument cluster on a Lancia Ypsilon 2 is not particularly complex, as it is held by just five screws found by removing the snap-on cover that serves mainly as aesthetic trim. Once this cover is removed, you will find the screws that allow you to take off the entire cover and access the instrumentation. This will be exposed, and you can remove it by disconnecting the electrical connectors and unscrewing the two Torx screws that secure the instrumentation. Before doing this, remember to disconnect the battery, at least the negative terminal. Keep the radio code handy, as you will need it to reactivate the radio.
