How to Remove the Door Handle from a Lancia Delta

If you need to repaint the door of this car model, a professional job requires removing the handle rather than masking it, as precise masking will never guarantee as excellent a result as removal. Once the door is opened, on the pillar, right by the lock, there is a small plastic cap that, when removed, gives access to the screw securing the handle lock. Unscrew this screw and insert the key into the lock to extract it from its housing. Then pull the other part of the handle after disconnecting the cable and rotate it to remove it from the door.
