To ensure that clean air circulates in the ventilation system of the Lancia Ypsilon, you must replace the specific filter at the scheduled intervals. To do this, open the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat, unclip the side guides, and unscrew the six screws holding the frame with a T25 screwdriver.

Shift the glove compartment sideways and unscrew the screw that secures the filter box cover in front of you using a 7mm socket, remove the old filter element, and insert a new filter, paying attention to the flow direction. Refit the cover and secure it with the screw, reposition the glove compartment and secure it with the screws, and reinsert the side guides.
