From a purely practical standpoint, adjusting the handbrake cable on a Land Rover Freelander is not complicated at all. Moreover, it does not require any special tools other than a common 17mm spanner to tighten or loosen the adjustment bolt located on the central dashboard of the vehicle, just below the small glove compartment shown in the video.

The most challenging part is knowing how much and when this cable should actually be adjusted, so it is advised not to improvise this maintenance if you do not really know what you are doing.
