Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the key fob for a 2009 Lexus GS 460. The battery we will use for the replacement is a CR 16 22. To replace the battery, we first need to extract the emergency metal key contained inside the key fob by pressing the button on the side. Insert the key into the key fob and apply slight pressure upwards to open it and remove the battery compartment. Pay attention to the microchip that is lifted along with the battery during the replacement. After replacing the battery, close the key fob and insert the metal key inside.
