How to replace the battery in the remote key fob of a Lexus ES? Follow this guide. Take your remote key fob, pull out the metal key from inside; use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Pry until the cover opens. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover on your remote by pressing down until you hear it click into place. Check that the remote key fob functions correctly.
